The Santander Sea Festival is a fun, sporting, cultural and tourist event, starring by ships from all fleets, but with special relevance of the tall ships. It is, in itself, a celebration of fraternization between all the sectors, collectives and institutions that live, work or enjoy the sea, and in turns, it is a spectacle that serves, like no other, to bring the population to the docks and to feel the call of the history and maritime culture of a people who have lived for so many centuries linked socially and economically to this environment: the sea.
Santander Sea Festival takes place in one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Specifically, it will be located in the heart of the city, CEAR de Vela, Real Club Marítimo de Santander, Palacio del Embarcadero, Grúa de Piedra, the new Centro Botin, Maritime Station and Naval Command, among others.
This place, center of gravity of the capital of Cantabria, is progressively changing its port activity for others of cultural nature, while integrating with the city of Santander.
Along the docks, the public will be able to visit the boats, participate in the programmed activities and enjoy the planned shows during the 4 days of the Festival.
This is the provisional program of the 3rd Santander Sea Festival 2019.
